Video: Samsung develops 2-inch S-shaped OLED screen

Samsung S-shaped OLED

Samsung’s wares from the Society of Information Display Week have not apparently ended. Here we are seeing another OLED screen developed by them, bent in an S-shape achieved with the help of film encapsulation tech.

It’s just a 2-inch display but it supports QVGA resolution (240×320) with 260K colors, has a luminance of 200cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 10000:1.

The application of such screen is unknown for now but there’s a high possibility for it to be integrated in some future digital photo frame with a larger display.
