Anybody knows when Samsung will upload the new firmware to their PC Studio? Because this IG3 is so frustrating for the built in Web Browser,and specially that ‘STOP’ bug. I’ve to use Opera Mini,but can’t use it for long as it is not a full featured browser. If anybody already updated their Omnia HD firmware please let me know.

That’s completely wrong,you can easily use Portrait mode as well as the Landscape for the mentioned purposes.

I have heard from two of my friends that there is no portrait mode for writing/messaging/browsing in omnia hd,,u have to use landscape mode everytime
Its sad if its true,,can u please check this out

The FW version is I8910DDIG3,Date-17/07/2009. I have no idea is it updated or not,but I tried to update via Samsung PC Studio 7,but that crap software doesn’t support the i8910. I think we have to wait a few days more to have the updated firmware,the Jet FW is officially available on the Samsung website,so we can hope the HD FW will be available soon.
I’ll definitely try to post some Pics/Videos from the phone.

If u can check out the firmware version u are having in ur phone,,the latest firmware is i8910ZXiG4
Just check it out if its having this latest firmware or it is shipped with the old one
And if u can post some photos/videos of it,,but please do report about its firmware
I’ll be roaming throughout pune today to find if its available here

I am from Kolkata. The Shop is ‘Arora’s DP Electronics’. I don’t know Samsung reduced the price or not,without any negotiation they said 28K. The Omnia PRO 7320 is priced at 14,250/-(where here it’s stated as 16,500/-) and Samsung Marine is at 5,200/- (where in most reviews it’s stated at 7000/-). I think there is something wrong with these internet prices.
And @Kunal,
Forget about Gray market,mine is with the Bill and One year warranty,like other NEW cell phones.

I’m in pune,,no information here
But how it can be 28000,,if its reality,,i can assure its the end of road for Nokia N97 & still to be launched Iphone 3gs both of which costs around more than 32000
