Samsung Application Store will go live from September 14

Samsung has announced to launch its iteration of App Store on September 14. It will be an on-device application store that will be available initially in UK, France and Italy, followed by 30 other countries.
As for the phones, only Omnia and Omnia HD (I8910 HD) will be able to use the store for the time being. Omnia users will have to download an application while Omnia HD users will need to upgrade their software by selecting the Application Download icon.
Around 300 applications will be up for download and is expected to grow to 2000 apps by the end of this year. The app store will work over cellular or Wi-Fi networks and supports credit card and phone billing.
Samsung’s Application Store will be shown at the IFA this week.
