Samsung has released a new firmware update for its Android I7500 Galaxy phone. The I7500XXII5_VIAII5 update is still the Android 1.5 Cupcake but emphasizes on stability and improved battery life. It has got the Switchers app that allows to quickly enable/disable network components like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

The screen unlock time has been reduced to 0.5 seconds while features an improved compass display that works better with Google Maps, Sky Maps and Wikitude. Users can now also send bitmap MMS messages.

  1. Hello,

We found a bug for your firmware, at least for version I7500XXH7.

    The bug is:

    - The Android camera API ‘SetPictureSize’ is not working on your firmware.

    - we can set picture size, but the picture size is still default when taking picture.

so wondering if you are aware of this bug? and already fixed? or going to fix in coming firmware?

    Best regards
