Samsung announces multi-colored WEP490 Corby Bluetooth headset
Just got your jazzy looking Corby phone but don’t want to hook it up with your bland Bluetooth headset? Well, Samsung’s got you covered. They’ve announced the WEP490 Corby Bluetooth headsets, to complement the hue of your Corby device. It comes in four dual-tone colors along with a simple black and features sharp edge design, big button and a status LED indicator.
But it’s not only about the looks. WEP490 also has audio enhancing qualities like noise reduction and echo cancellation and automatic volume control. Its talk time is rated at up to 6 hours with standby going up to 180 hours.
It will sell in Russia first for 1,300 rubles (US$45).

There are usually a lot of simple black color products out there when I think of Bluetooth Headset but WEP490 offers variety of colors and they are fresh. I never felt the need to use Bluetooth Headset but WEP490 is so pretty that I want to get one and try it.
For the past 2 years figure skating has been my hobby. Well. I say it’s a hobby but it takes a lot to do it right. The most irritating thing about it is answering the phone. My husband often gets annoyed when I don’t pick up my cell when I’m skating so I bought the Bluetooth Headset WEP490 that came out with Corby the minute I saw it because it was so cute! I talked with my husband as soon as I bought it and it works really well! I can hear the other person clearly and I even if I don’t speak loudly, the others get it right away. It fits my ear perfectly so it doesn’t hurt even if I wear it for a long time. And it also have feature (function) that eliminates the wind sound so there’s no problem talking on the phone while I’m skating. I actually bought it to use it when I skate, but it’s so practical and stylish that I think I’m going to use it more often. My husband also wants me to get him one after seeing mine. Since mine is pink, I’m going to get him yellow one. It’ll be a perfect gift for Christmas.
I was about to purchase a Bluetooth Headset and bought the WEP490 because I loved the color. I’m using it now and I’m totally satisfied with the sound quality and there’s almost no static. The distance range with the cell phone is 10m, which is quite good. The best part of WEP490 is Auto Volume Control!! This product is worth the money, if you try it you won’t regret it.
