Samsung’s upcoming refrigerator has Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is found in most electronic devices today but how about being able to surf the internet on a refrigerator? Samsung’s refrigerator that goes by the model number SRT746AWTN has been given the interoperability certificate by the Wi-Fi authorities. The certificate also states that it has a built-in digital photo frame but didn’t have a mention about the possible screen size.

If we were to make wild guesses regarding the applications for Wi-Fi, it could be used to download recipes, surf the internet or even execute refrigerator commands remotely. As I said, these are just few wild guesses but plausible.
