Phone equipped with Super AMOLED will be unveiled at MWC

Samsung is planning to introduce a Super AMOLED equipped phone at this year’s MWC. Now before you get excited, Super AMOLED is the same display that has an integrated touch sensor.
It will be the world’s first display to embed a touch sensor and is five times more vivid than regular AMOLED screens and performs 20 percent better when used outdoors under direct sunlight. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the screen size but it’s believed to be a 3.3-inch screen with WVGA (800×480) resolution.
No word on the phone either but we wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung integrates such display in their first bada phone.
