This sure has taken its time but Samsung and Sharp have finally reached a settlement over LCD patents. Both companies have decided to drop lawsuits and patent infringement litigation in US, Japan, Korea and Europe which they were fighting since 2007.

They haven’t disclosed the financial agreements but has confirmed to use all the disputed patents mutually.
