Samsung preparing 8-inch and 10-inch tablets?

Samsung briefly showed off its first 7-inch Galaxy Tab tablet yesterday and now Korea Herald’s source claims that in addition to the 7-inch tablet, Samsung is also preparing 8-inch and 10-inch ones.

Samsung will apparently launch them in their home market first with SK Telecom and price them aggressively in a bid to take a lead against iPad, which is expected to come to South Korea by end of this year.

The 7-inch tablet will make its way out in August, 8-inch in October and 10-inch in December.

This does sound great but it all boils down to the content. Samsung devices boast a decent set of hardware but they lack when it comes to content. It will be interesting to see if Samsung Apps and Android market will give the impetus to drive sales of their hardware, which is currently the case of iPad.
