CHITEC 2008 saw a new laptop coming from Samsung’s stable. It’s the SENS R410 featuring a 14.1” display, Intel Core 2 Duo processor, ATI Radeon Xpress GPU, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, card reader. No word on pricing but China will be getting this little maestro.

The Uzbekistan division of Samsung has announced a new 17-inch multimedia friendly laptop. The R700 is packed with a GeForce 8400 GPU, HDMI port and a HD-DVD drive. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi and also 7 in 1 card reader. It will retail for $970.

Samsung launches a HD DVD compatible notebook in Korea. The M55 HD-DVD has a very good configuration with a 17″ screen with HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels), Intel Core Duo processor, NVIDIA GeForce 7600 (GDDR3 256MB) graphics card, a HDMI port and 7.1 channel stereo sound.

Samsung Electronics will release first of its kind UMPC (Q1)and a laptop (Q30) which will feature a 32GB NAND flash-based solid state disk (SSD). The SSD enabled PCs means faster loading time, light weight and more resistant than the PCs based HDD.
