We were sent this picture that comes from a Korean shopping site. Little is known about the device but if the quilted back cover is any indication, this phone could be from the Diva collection for South Korea. It will be launched on KT.

Except for unlocked, most of us would find Omnia devices being sold on a single operator. However, in its home market, Samsung has for the first time, mass released different Omnia devices for different operators. South Korea’s second largest mobile operator and Samsung will be announcing SPH-M8400. The device supposedly running WinMo will support WiBro, Wi-Fi and WCDMA connectivity.
M8400 will become the second WiBro smartphone to go on sale since and will allow users to carry out VoIP calls. Exact availability and price are not known.

Samsung has made its W830/W8300/W8350 official, which we had told you yesterday. For the things we didn’t, have been confirmed now, like the accelerometer that can be used to set the phone in silent mode, SOS with siren feature and color options of blue, pink and white. Samsung’s new slider will reach the KT users soon. The SPH-W8400 is a decent slider phone and features a 2.4-inch (240×320) display, 3.6Mbps HSDPA, SOS function, GPS, microSD slot supporting up to 16GB, 2MP camera and Bluetooth. The phone also features a specially designed battery cover for better grip. No word on the price.
