T-Mobile will start shipping the 8MP wonder from Samsung today. For the uninitiated, the 8MP phone is Memoir that has nifty photography features like Xenon flash, smile and face detection, 3G, TouchWiz UI and GPS. It goes for $299 with a 2 year contract. Probably the best camera phone, an American carrier can offer.

With information leaking at regular intervals, T-Mobile thought it was about time to give this phone an official tag. More details of Memoir continue to leak. The phone is expected to launch on February 25 but Tmonews say that it can be shifted back to September. They have also managed to get the feature list of the device.
