Samsung has announced the sales of its LTE USB dongle, GT-B3710. The dongle takes advantage of TeliaSonera’s newest LTE network to deliver speeds fiber-like speeds over-the-air at up to 100Mbps. Samsung’s dongle is based on its Kalmia chip, supports 2.6GHz band and is fully compliant with 3GPP LTE Release 8 standard.

Samsung has successfully developed a high-speed Ultra Wide-Band (UWB) chip that touts have the fastest data transfer rate. The chip combines ARM9 core-based baseband processor and flash controller to attain high rate of data speeds.
